This is a new solicitation for Medical Equipment (Diagnostic Imaging) Repair and Maintenance Services. Diagnostic Imaging includes CT scanners, MRI's, X-ray, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine. X-ray includes radiographic only, radiographic & fluoroscopic, radiographic with digital, radiographic & fluoroscopic with digital, chest only, urology, cardiac cath, angio, vascular, mobiles, mammography, C-arm and radiographic & fluoroscopic remote. The purpose of the solicitation is to provide a vehicle for all authorized Government agencies to obtain either of the following: standard maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, preventive maintenance plus, on-call time and material/hourly billed maintenance services or repair parts/spare parts for medical equipment under a Multiple Awards Federal Supply Schedule. The solicitation issuance date is 7/31/00. This solicitation is open and continuous; therefore, offers can be submitted at any time. A pre-proposal conference has been tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 2000. Once the date of the pre-proposal conference is finalized another notice will be issued in the Commerce Business Daily detailing the date, time and location.
