DESC: Provide all supervision, plant labor, equipment, material, and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with Repairing/Repainting Elevated Water Storage Tanks #1 and #2 in accordance with the performance specifications and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Work will also include soil lead abatement around the water storage tanks. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Requirements Construction". This will be an unrestricted procurement issued under the authority of FAR subpart 19.1006(b)(1), Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, SIC code 1721. This procurement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about August 15, 2000. Note: The DUE DATE for the Invitation for Bid (IFB) shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting date (The IFB will be posted on Fort Drums web page). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The IFB will not be mailed out and no mailing list will be maintained. The entire IFB package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hardcopies will be provided. All sources wishing to submit a bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the IFB.
