Z -- BUILT UP ROOF REHABILITATION FOR THE VISITOR CENTER AND RESTROOM BUILDING SOL Q8601000152 DUE 091900 POC Mikki Darr, 602-640-5250 Extension 227 The work of this contract consists of rehabilitation of the roof system of the historic Tumacacori National Historic Park Visitor Center and Restroom Building in Tumacacori, Arizona. The work includes installation of a specified built up roof system using Johns Manville 4ply GIS System. Work of this contract shall include preparation of the roof surface including demolition of the existing roof membrane and flashing down to the existing wood deck, and removal and disposal of all materials. The work shall include the abatement of roofing material potentially containing asbestos, repair of the wood deck, placement of tapered insulation, and fabrication and installation of associated copper roof flashing details. The Tumacacori National Historic Park Visitor Center and Restroom Building are considered a significant historic buildings and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The contractor shall be required to become familiar with the Secretary of the Interior Standards for Rehabilitation of Historic Buildings and the recommended treatments as outlined within the standards. This project is located at Tumacacori National Historical Park, Exit 29 on I-19, 45 miles South of Tucson, Arizona and 19 miles north of Nogales, Arizona and the international border.
