This procurement will be awarded pursuant to FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Contract award is planned for November 2000. As the sole designer, developer, and producer of the Rotor Brake Quill Assembly, Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. is the only contractor with sufficient technical knowledge to fulfill the Government's requirement.
