The National Park Service, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SFMNHP), has identified a requirement for a contractor to perform underwater maintenance and repair services to the Scow-Schooner "Alma". The "Alma" is an operational vessel owned by the US Department of the Interior, National Park Service, SFMNHP. The contractor shall paint the hull, perform minimal bottom repairs, remove and re-step the fore and main masts. Alma will be in service May 1, 2000 through October 21, 2000. Vessel is 80 feet in overall length; 58 feet in on deck length; has a maximum beam of 22 feet 6 inches; a draft with the centerboard up of 4.3; gross tonnage is 46 tons; constructed of Douglas fir; built in 1891. The Contractor is responsible for any and all permits and licenses as may be required by the National Park Service and the City of San Francisco, California. **** Technical Quotes for this request for Quotation will be evaluated on the following Selection Criteria: A) EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated successfulexperience in performing work of a similar nature. B) PAST PERFORMANCE: 1) The offeror shall demonstrate successful performance on the same or similar type services. 2) The Offeror shall demonstrate past performance by inclusion of dates, locations, customers, points of contact and award amount.
