synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. Proposal for a firm fixed-price
contract under Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation number
DAHA51-00-R-0012 is being requested. This solicitation document
incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. This procurment is made on an
unrestricted basis. The SIC code for this procurement is 5599
Automotive Dealer, N.E.C. The Alaska Army National Guard has a
requirement for 235 snowmobiles over a five year period with 79 in the
first year and 39 in years two, three, four, and five. The snowmobile
specifications are as follows: current or future year model; 500cc or
under displacement engine; fan cooled engine; transmission with
reverse; dry weight of machine less than 500 pounds; high flotation
track for deep snow operations; ground pressure of 0.417 or less;
two-up seating; pintle type tow hitch; tow an Akhio with a 600 pound
load; fuel capacity minimum of 10 gallons; high windshield; heated hand
grips; speedomter/odometer with tripmeter; storage capability on read
of machine with cargo rack (to hold 5 gallons of gas or ruck sack);
carbide skags; plastic ski skins; blackout light switch; back-up alarm
disconnect switch; white cowlings no decals/black tubs; snowmobile
cover (outdoors all weather for storage or protection while towing);
and technical operators manual. Far provision 52.212-3 Offeror
Representations and Certifications-Commercial items shall be completed
and submitted with the proposal. FAR clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms
and Conditions-Commercial Items, hereby applies to this solicitation.
FAR clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement
Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this
acquisition. FAR 52.215-1 applies to this purchase. The government
intends to award without discussion. Delivery and acceptance shall be
made FOB Destination, Point of Embarkation, Port of Seattle/Tacoma, WA
with final destination of Alaska Army National Guard, Building 49-140,
Fort Richardson, AK 99505-2610. Delivery shall be made by 30 November
