Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has a requirement for 3
each, Mini-Andros II Vehicle Assembly Robots. Must meet all the
required specifications as follows: Robot must be small in size and
lightweight, required size: 35" Long, 6" Wide and 30.5" High. Dual
Track/Wheeled Chassis, Articulating Front and Rear Tracks, 12" opening
gripper with continuos wrist roll, black/white arm camera with auto
iris/focus and wide angle lens, color camera with light and 6.1 zoom
lens on pan/tilt, two 17.2 Amp-Hour, 12 VDC gel-cell batteries, 24 VDC
Battery charger, tool kit, operating/maintenance manual (1-copy).
Travels on two tracks equipped with movable arms that can lift approx.
15 lbs. when fully extended. Arms reach 24" horizontally and 36" above
the floor and camera located on movable arm. Dual articulating track
which will allow operator to lengthen or shorten the robot to operate
in confined spaces. Robot must be able to climb stairs and over 16-inch
obstacles and traverse a 21-inch wide opening.Must mount and fire the
Pan Disrupter from the robot arm. Environmentally sealed. Tether Fiber
optic or wireless control. Fit in trunk of car. Control console
assembly, cable reel assembly, 120 VAC, 24 VDC Power Assembly, Pan
Disrupter mount assembly, laser assembly (fits disrupter mount), Radio
control assembly with 2-Way Audio, (vehicle and console), Fiber Optic
cable reel assembly, Spare Parts Kit, 1-1/2 Days operator/maintenance
training. Ability to mount and shoot the pan disrupter from a small
platform. Shipping must be FOB Destination to Rockville, MD, Atlanta,
GA, and Indiana. No solicitation package is available. Award will be
made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Subpart
13.5. All interested parties must submit a quote within 15 calendar
days of the date of publication of this notice. Award will be made
based on technical specifications, best value and price to the
government. Any questions asked reference technical specifications must
be submitted in writing, sent by fax and answers will be made no later
than closing date of publication. No further questions can be asked
after the closing date. Quotes must include price and product
literature, which list specifications. Awarde must complete a SF-3381,
