National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) solicits proposals
for basic experimental and theoretical research to advance scientific
knowledge and technology in cellular and macromolecular biotechnology.
Proposals requested by this announcement may be for ground-based
research investigations and/or limited types of space-flight
experiments, with emphasis on early utilization of the International
Space Station. This solicitation is open to university and other
non-profit research institutions, private sector organizations, and
other U.S. government agencies. This NRA will be available after August
4, 2000 through the Internet at: http://peer1.idi.usra.edu . Paper
copies of the Announcement can be obtained after August 4 by those not
having Internet access by calling (202) 358-4180. This notice
constitutes a NASA Research Announcement as contemplated in FAR 6.102
