The project area is covered by approximately 24 IRS image scenes within Siskiyou, Modoc, Lassen and Plumas Counties. The delivered imagery shall be georeferenced and orthorectified. Radiometric correction or tonal balancing will not be required. The format shall be cloud free summer imagery from 1999, June, July, August or September. Image format shall be geotif in UTM Zone 10 projection, NAD datum. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepaid in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ-20-00-RSL0100. This solicitation is being issued as Request for quotations. Upon award, the Government will provide digital ARINFO coverages illustrating the entire project area that shall beused as an aid for scene selection. Questions concwerning acceptable levels of cloud cover and exact scene dates will be resolved following contract award. Imagery shall be delivered to Sacramento, CA by 15 October 2000.
