Minor Repair and Reconditioning of Propellers, (6) 3.4.2.1 NDT
Outboard, Port and Stbd Sides of Ramp Door, (7) 3.6 Ramp Door Renewal
and Installation, (8) Overhaul Capstan Assembly, (9) Renew Capstan
Assembly, (10) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics, (11) Composite
Labor Rate, and (12) Laydays. Vessel_s homeport is Detroit, Michigan.
Vessel length is seventy-two (72) feet. Vessel_s minimum depth of water
is four feet six inches (4_6_). Vessel_s height clearance is twenty-one
feet three (21_3_) inches. Vessel_s availability is for forty-five (45)
days, starting 30 October 2000. The following Geographic Restriction
applies: The USCGC CABLEBOAT (CG-72015) is restricted to the Great
Lakes. The CABLEBOAT is restricted to the area between Port Huron,
Michigan and Cleveland, Ohio, from November 1, through May 1. Also the
CABLEBOAT is restricted to its home pier from December 15, through
April 15. All reference documents are available for viewing at 300 East
Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. A non-refundable charge
of $150.00 is required, in the form of a certified check or money order
payable to the U.S.Coast Guard, for requested drawings. Drawings are
now available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM sets are available for all cutters
and will be free of charge to contractors upon request. This
procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness
Demonstration Program. All Businesses, large and small, are encouraged
to submit bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications
will be issued on or about 11 August 2000. All responsible sources may
submit a bid, which shall be considered by the United States Coast
Guard. _ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business
Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term
Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of
lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation
