Work consists of improvement work to the East Main pump station to the Reservoir and the West Main from 44th Street/Van Nees to the Reservoir, with lengths of 12,900 feet and 6,900 feet, respectively. Improvement work comprises replacing defective line valves, replacing blow off tees and valves and retrofitting air valve vaults. Work also includes repair to leading Third and Second High Mains in the Dalecarlia Reservoir area. Internal clamps will be installed to 35 joints for each of these mains and manuel inspections will be performed to 396 feet of each main. also included is work replacing 30-inch diameter valves in mains other than the Third High Main.
