The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Regent MFG. Inc. Downey, CA for the acquisition of twenty-five (25) Hydraulic Tripod Jacks P/N 8018-012. Required delivery is 30 November 2000. The item is a modified Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Non-Developmental-Item (NDI) used in support of maintenance on the T-45 aircraft. The Hydraulic Tripod Jack has a vertical capacity of five (5) tons and a hydraulic lift of 44 inches with a 16 inch screw extension. The closed height of the jack is thirty (30) inches and the jack has a footprint radius of 27 inches. The Government does not own data rights to the Hydraulic Tripod Jack. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
