This is a combination synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for design, manufacture (electric digital proportional-integral-derivation (P-I-D) governors), removal and installation of Governors for Units 1 through 4, located at the Carter's Powerhouse Plant, 975 Powerhouse Road, Chatsworth, Georgia, Georgia 30705. There will be optional items. This is a best value procurement. Liquidated Damages will be applied. Subcontracting Plan will be required. This procurement is unrestricted. The SIC Code is 3511 with a size standard of 1000. A Site Visit will be offered.
