The purpose of this notice is to inform all potential offerors that Solicitation number DAAE07-00-R-T047 is being amended to change the acquisition strategy. The strategy will be changed from award of one contract using full and open competition and award of a second contract to a different contractor as a small business set-aside, to a 100% small business set-aside in which we will award up to three, Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts to separate small business contractors. The resulting small business set-aside contracts will each contain five separate ordering periods starting from the date of contract award. Each ordering period is one year. The description of all supplies previously synopsized in the CBDnet under this solicitation on Apr 26,2000, to include the NSN, and estimated maximum quantity for each item of supply remain essentially unchanged. Slight changes have been incorporated in this synopsis to better describe the supplies we will buy under this amended solicitation. a)20,000 Gallon (K) and 50K Collapsible Fabric Water Tank Assemblies with all fittings, repair items, accessories and ground cloth. b)20K and 50K Collapsible Fabric Water Tank Replacements as described in (a) above, but without the upper portions of the filler/discharge assembly fittings (the elbows), the upper portion of the vent assembly and the 4 inch filler/discharge valve assembly. c) 3K, 10K, 20K, 50K Collapsible Fabric Fuel Tank Assemblies with all fittings, repair items, accessories and Berm Liners. d) 3K, 10K, 20K, 50K Collapsible Fabric Fuel Tank Replacements as described in (c) above, but without the upper portions of the filler/discharge assembly fittings (the elbows), the upper portions of the vent assembly fitting, the 4 inch filler discharge valve assembly, and the berm liner.
