NOTE PROJECT CHANGE FROM DACW67-00-R-0032 TO DACW67-00-B-0026 Services shall consist of labor and materials to replace hull bottom of debris vessel Puget from engine room to the stern, leaving the tunnels and rudders in tact. All steel replacement will be from 12 inches forward of watertight bulkhead #7 to the stern lazarett. Removal of approximately 1,160 square feet of one-quarter-inch steel plate with keel coolers and sags. Renewed with all three-eighths-inch American Beauro of Ship's Standard (abs) steel as required by the Coast Guard. The Puget will be delivered to the contractor's shipyard within the Puget Sound Area from Blain to Olympia, Washington. Solicitation will be issued on 9 August 2000, with proposals due on 8 September 2000. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-ROM format only. EBS CD-ROM disks with plans and specs available on or about 8 September at no charge per set. EBS CD-ROM disks will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring consideration must request a copy of DACW67-00-B-0026 in writing ten days after date of this publication and must respond by IFB's bid opening date with information required therein.
