TEST AND EVALUATE QUICKFILL WALL SYSTEM AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) intends to award a noncompetitive contract under $500K, on a sole-source basis to New Mexico State University (NMSU), Las Cruces, NM, for a project that will provide the coordination of labor and incidental materials and services necessary to test and evaluate test walls and structures using the QuickFill wall system. NMSU will provide the labor to evaluate the pressure/deflection curves for eight fill materials contained in a length of fabric tube (sack test(, build and evaluate six test walls and three structures.
