Z -- REPAIR A/B TAXIWAYS NAVAL AIR STATION FALLON, FALLON, NEVADA SOL N44255-00-R-2531 DUE 081500 POC Stephanie Higgins, Contract Specialist, (360) 396-0263 This project includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment to repair Alpha and Bravo Taxiways at Naval Air Station, Fallon, Nevada. The work includes demolition of existing concrete pavement, sub-grade excavation, disposal of spoils, sub-grade replacement, concrete panel replacement and repairs, crack sealing, soil stabilization, pavement striping, and other incidental related work. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be required. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1611. The related small business size standard is $17 Million. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. There is a base bid and three options. The options may be exercised within 120 calendar days of contract award. The options items include sawcutting and removing paving, cleaning and resealing undisturbed pavement, and shoulder repair. If a large business concern, shall submit a subcontracting plan in accordance with FAR 52.219-9 SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING PLAN (OCT 1999) ALTERNATE I (JAN 1999). This Request for Proposal is an unrestricted competitive negotiation and proposals will be evaluated to determine which offer provides the best value to the Government. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), this solicitation will be limited to distribution on electronic medium; plans and specifications will be available to download free of charge via the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The Government will not provide hard copies (paper) or CD-ROM. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS MUST REGISTER ON THE ESOL WEBSITE. NOTIFICATION OF ANY CHANGES (AMENDMENTS) WILL BE MADE ON THE ESOL WEB-SITE.
