Design to repair existing Wilson Cove Small Boat Ramp at Naval Auxiliary Landing Field (NALF), San Clemente Island, CA. The ramp shall be capable of handling all small station watercraft including the oil recovery boats, all SPECWAR boats, and small boats for all other island tenants. The ramp shall have a non-slip surface. The base bid shall be for repair/construction of one lane ramp with the option for an additional lane (two-lane ramp). Includes any incidental related work, complete and ready for use. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. -- Contract to be awarded to the responsible offeror who provides the "LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE" proposal. -- The following evaluation factors are listed: (1) Technical expertise of the Design Build Team, (2) Past Performance, and (3) Price. A Pre-proposal Conference is tentatively scheduled for 23 August 2000. The Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Building 99 Main Conference Room.
