The Total Small Business Set-Aside for the subject RFQ has been dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105. Therefore, this requirement is now being solicited on an unrestricted basis. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3462. The requirement is for 4 EA Tube Assemblies, part number 622471-1. The contract type will be firm fixed-price with an option quantity of up to 4 EA Tube Assemblies, part number 622471-1. The item is approximately 12 feet long and 1,700 pounds. MIL-I-45208A, ANSI/ASQC Q9002 or a recognized industry standard that is equivalent or better applies to this acquisition. Inspection and test records required. The calibration of measuring and test equipment shall, as a minimum, adhere to the requirements of ANSI Z540.1 or equivalent. The contractor's gauges, measuring and testing devices shall be made available for use by the Government to determine product conformance to contract requirements. Other requirements include close machining tolerances. Strict/special testing requirements applicable to this acquisition include hydrostatic testing and magnetic particle inspection. Government Furnished Property for hydrostatic test equipment will be provided. Required/controlled manufacturing process include heat/treatment certification, welding certification, brazing and other requirements as noted in NAWCAD MPR numbers 26, 1015 and 1072. Preliminary Inspection will be at source with DCMA with final inspection and acceptance at destination, Lakehurst, NJ. Shipment will be FOB destination (shipping costs borne by the contractor) 120 days after contract award. Packing and packaging shall be best commercial practice. All offerors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
