58 -- COMMUNICATION, DETECTION, AND COHERENT RADIATION EQUIPMENT SOL N00164-00-R-0134 DUE 100400 POC Ms. Susie burris, 812-854-3696, by e-mail burris_s@crane.navy.mil The Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for the major test and repair of AN/ALQ 126B, Low-Band Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs). Tubes were originally manufactured by ITT (Easton, PA) and Hughes Aircraft Company (Torrance, CA). An indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is envisioned with the following min/max quantities over a five-year period: 1 (min) and 300 (max) for the two different types of TWTs (total contract minimum is 2 and maximum 600). Both TWTs are to be repaired and tested in accordance with NSWC Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to major repair and test TWTs to performance specifications in the SOW. As a minimum, the TWTs Cathode, Grid, and Filament shall be replaced. The Government will provide failed TWTs to the contractor for repair as Government Furnished Material (GFM). First Article Testing shall be required. Inspection and Acceptance shall be Destination, NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. FOB Destination NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. Delivery of three each First Article units shall be required within 150 days after contract award.
