The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for Standard Flood and Utility Lights, including mounting clips and hood assemblies. Quantities for Standard Floodlights are base quantity, 30: Option I quantity, 339; Option II Quantity, 90. 28-Volt Utility lights (Post only type) quantities are: base quantity is 40; Option I quantity 452; and Option II quantity is 120. Quantities for 28 Volt Utility Alligator Mounting Clip is: base quantity, 30; Option I quantity, 339; and Option II quantity, 90. Quantities for the Hood Assemblies are base quantity, 140; Option I, 1582, and Option II, 420. Flood lights and hood assemblies shall be fabricated in accordance with applicable requirements of MIL-L-85762A "Lighting, Aircraft, Interior, Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Compatible" dated 26 August 1988. All first tier references cited in the MIL-L shall be mandatory; lower tier references shall be used for guidance only. Delivery schedule is twenty-six weeks after contract award. This solicitation shall be released on or about August 10, 2000. The Navy intends to release the solicitation, including any subsequent amendments, via the Internet.
