NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 1 each 3DIPSOS VER.2.3 3D MODELING SOFTWARE; 1 each of the following add-on application module options: 3Dipsos Ver.2.3 Engineering Module; 3Dipsos Ver.2.3 Mesh Module; 3Dipsos Ver.2.3 Image Module; 3 Dipsos Ver.2.3 Point Processing Module; 3 Dipsos Ver.2.3 DGN Output Module; 3 Dipsos Ver.2.3 PDMS Output Module. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Mensi, Inc., Suite 170 35, Technology Parkway, Norcross GA 30092, on a sole source basis. Only one responsible source is available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have until 04 August 2000 to provide to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the above date or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
