This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA Ames Research Center has a need to procure 2 each: Kodak ES 4.0 8-bit, Digital Camera. (Model ES 4.0) KAI-4000 CCD array with 2048x2048 pixel elements. 8-bit pixel depth. Sensing area 15.2 x15.2 mm (7.4x7.4 micron pixels). No Cover Glass on CCD array chip option. 15 frame per second image acquisition rate. Video output 68 pin SCSI-2B/AIA. C-mount lens mount. Camera control via RS232 interface. Strobe-Out and Trigger in SMA interconnects. Operations modes to include Continuous, Triggered, Triggered Double Exposure, and Controlled. 110VAC Power Adapter option. (Cat#8115-685, B, M, Q10). The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-19. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3861 and 500. respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to ARC is required within 90 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination (if FOB Destination is not possible, please include estimated shipping charge). The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
