Simpson, Contracting Officer, (301) 757-9062!! J -- A second draft of RFP N00019-99-R-1677 was posted on the NAVAIR WEB site on 6 July 2000. The draft RFP contained information that stated it was the intent of NAVAIR to issue the formal RFP on or about 27 July 2000. AIR-2.4.3 is using this forum to notify prospectice Offerors that the proposed RFP is still in the formal review cycle at NAVAIR. The revised issue date for the formal RFP is currently scheduled for 18 August 2000. It is reiterated that changes made as the result of this review will be posted on the WEB at the time the formal RFP is released. The Pre-Proposal Conference/Site visits are scheduled for 22 August 2000 at Fallon, Nevada and 24 August 2000 for Yuma, Arizona.
