Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to procure technical,
engineering and logistic services for Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD)
in support of all CCAD overhaul and repair activities for the entire
T700 family of turbine engines; including the T700-GE-700, 701, 701C,
401,and 401C engines. The contractor will provide technology insertion,
obsolescence management and test cell upgrades in support of
reliability improvements and increased flight hours for the engines.
They will provide AMCOM Depot Maintenance engineering with technical
and engineering assistance and assist and advise CCAD in establishing
commercial best practices in the areas of production planning,
production control, materials management and process engineering. This
effort also requires that the Contractor develop overhaul and
workstation kits and provide logistical support functions in the
inventory management of 100 percent of the material required by CCAD in
the overhaul/repair of the T700 family of engines in order to
streamline CCAD engine production and reduce repair cycle times to 90
days. Complete and adequate data is not available to support full and
open competition. This is a sole source procurement to General Electric
Engineering Services, (address) who is the original designer and
developer of the T700 family of engines and has the background design
knowledge, experience, data, and/or equipment to support technical,
engineering, material, and modernization capability required by this
effort. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be
considered by the agency. Offerors are encouraged to contact General
