The Great Basin National Park will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the reconstruction of five (5) water collection systems (Spring Boxes) and for the consruction of two (2) Water Filter Systems. The work includes the following: 1) Replace hatches for the Spring Boxes; 2) Repair pipe connections to the Spring Boxes; 3) Construct improvements to existing Spring Collection Box at Wheeler Peak Spring; and 4) Construct two (2) Filter Systems. The Great Basin National Park is located near Baker, Nevada along State Highway 488. The reconstruction of the Spring Boxes is located within the park at Baker Creek Spring, Cave Springs, and Wheeler Peak Spring. The construction of the Water Filter Systems is located at Wheeler Peak and Lehman Springs. All construction locations are within the Great Basin National Park boundaries. There will be on official site visit or prequotation conference, however, due to the nature of the work involved, all offerors are strongly encouraged to inspect the project work sites before submitting a quote. The completition of work is 30 to 60 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award of a single contract will be made to the best value offeror. Quotation receipt date is approximate, the actual due date will be established at the time the RFQ is made available. In accordance with FAR Part 5.102(2) & (3), a limited number of RFQ packages will be made available on a "first-come-first-service" basis. A total of 20 copies of the RFQ will be made available. This project is set for full and open competition. A firm fixed price contract will be negotiated. All offerors will be required to complete a Past Performance Questionnaire.
