Pak, Project Manager, USPS, 303-220-6541 The Postal Service is soliciting for a Repair and Alteration project to Replace Parapet (Cement-Asbestos) Panels at the P&DC, Reno NV 89510-9998. The work includes, but is not limited to: providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to satisfactorily remove and replace all non-friable cement asbestos board siding (parapet panels). Associated work includes demolition, structural steel, rough carpentry, roofing and painting. Contractor shall be responsible for closely coordinating all work with USPS staff for minimal disruption to Postal operations and customers. The estimated construction cost range is $550,000 to $650,000 and the estimated performance time is 90 calendar days from the date of the Notice-to-Proceed is issued. The solicitation will be available on or about August 01, 2000, and may be obtained by remitting a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $75.00 per set.
