Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are seeking a qualified contractor to provide and install LP gas heating systems, and LP gas tanks and apputenances for housing units located in the Lodgepole and Grant Grove areas of these Parks. Selected Contractor will be required to inspect each housing unit, provide load calculations, provide recommendations for "upflow" or "downflow" units, and prepare and submit shop drawings before proceeding with the work. Contractor will perform all work necessary to remove existing furnaces and replace with new furnaces, cap existing fuel oil lines, and install new LP gas tanks. Estimated price is between $50,000 and $100,000. Date of Bid Opening is approximate. Solicitation packages will be available approximately 15 days after publication of this Notice.
