Godfrey (SEA 02233), 703/602-7517x212 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to competitively contract for the DD 21 Land Attack Destroyer Design, Construction, and Life Cycle Support (Phases III, IVA and V). This contract will be the continuation of the DD 21 Concept Development and Preliminary Systems Design efforts (Phases I and II) which were performed by the DD 21 Competing Teams under Agreement N00024-98-9-2300. The Offeror that is awarded this contract will become the DD 21 Full Service Contractor (FSC). It is anticipated that the Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued mid September 2000.
