This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a sole source procurement to Xybion Corporation of Clearwater Florida. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N66001-00-R-0043 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR circular 97-18. The SIC Code for this action is 3861. CLIN 0001 will consist of: XYBION model SPS-1220 positioner in the yoke configuration providing a 23"W x 13"H x 12"D (O.D.) camera mounting box with NEMA SCU Model 2715 cables and documentation. CLIN 0002 is a SLIP-ring assembly (56) rings 10 @15, 46@5 amp. CLIN 0003 is riser with mounting brackets to hold SCU NEMA enclosure. Riser shall be at least 49" tall. CLIN 0004 is a lightweight transportable base, mating to riser. Base shall be tripod with capability to fill with lead shot to provide additional weight for stability. CLIN 0005 is two adjustable mounting plates, one for a camera with a 10" diameter and one for a 6" diameter. CLIN 0006 will be an operations and maintenance manuals. Items will be delivered 8 months after date of award to SSC SD San Diego. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3. Offeror representations and certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Execute Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The standard commercial warranty applies.
