R INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) CONTRACT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION, FOR FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION OFFICES IN THE U.S. AND ITS TERRITORIES/POSSESSIONS. Standard Industrial Code 8744. This is an 8(a) Competitive Nationwide Solicitation to be issued on or about 30 SEP 00. Past performance information will be due on or about 15 OCT 00. FAA anticipates one award of an Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity contract but may award more than one contract for engineering and technical services in support of a broad variety of energy, environmental and safety investigation, analysis, permitting, maintenance, repair, remediation and construction projects. The objective of the contract is to provide expeditious execution of task orders for general construction and/or service work, which will vary from site to site. Local Manager will be required to work closely with the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative and Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer in accordance with the contract pricing, work schedule and specifications will issue specific task orders. The contract will contain a base period of two years with two option periods of 2 years each for a total of six years contract duration. Estimate for the full six years is between $20 and $30 million. Option Periods will be exercised at the Government's discretion. The Government will obligate to the contractor a guaranteed minimum amount of $500,000 for the Base Period and $500,000 for each of the Option Periods. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, permits, equipment, and services necessary to manage and accomplish designated deliveries, recommending a solution, and remediating the problem in a timely and efficient manner. Offerors will be required to submit cost and technical proposals as stated in the request for proposal. The following evaluation criteria will be used for selection: (1) written sample tasks; (2) written response to management approach questions; (3) past performance evaluation, (4) oral presentations (5) key personnel.
