COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 3,2000 PSA#2656 NATIONAL TRAVEL CONFERENCE 2000 The U.S. General Services
Administration's (GSA's) Office of Governmentwide Policy, the
Interagency Travel Management Committee -- a forum of approximately 100
Federal travel and financial policy managers, and the Government
Executive Magazine are co-sponsoring the first National Travel
Conference 2000: The Ticket for the New Millennium. The conference, to
be held in Orlando, Florida, October 30-November 1, 2000, offers a
valuable program with industry-wide application: speakers who are
recognized experts in their fields, topics with many implications for
the future of travel management; and a vendor exhibition featuring the
latest tools and technologies of the field. Four major themes guide
the program: -- Exchange Information and Learn about Travel Policy
Updates; -- Communicate and Interact with Colleagues and Industry Reps;
-- Explore Innovative Changes in Travel in Management; and -- Host to
Government Executive Magazine's Travel Manager of the Year Award
Ceremony (by invitation only). Travel management is challenged by many
changes as it enters the new century. Ongoing information is available
on the Internet at www.nationaltravel2000.com. Any questions may be
