The work to be completed is for the rehabilitiation of a sewage lagoon located at Squaw Creek Campground, North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, approximately 5 miles west of US Hwy. 85 and 17 miles south of Waterford, ND. BASE BID: The main components of the base bid include, but is not limited to, the following: Installation of additional precast concrete sections to raise the lift station assembly 6 feet in height to reduce surface infiltration. Installation of a new lift station control panel, guides rails and lifting chains. Combining the two secondary lagoon ponds into one large pond and relining the pond. Deepening the manhole between the primary and secondary lagoon ponds and modifying the plumbing to transfer biosolids between primary and secondary pond. Work under the Base Bid will begin approximately October 11, 2000 and be completed by November 24, 2000. OPTIONAL BID ITEM 1: The work includes reducing the size primary lagoon, extending the main sewer inlet to the new pond center and relining the pond upon completion. Work on this item will begin after Labor Day Holiday, September 3, 2001. OPTIONAL BID ITEM 2: The work includes filling the depression between the existing and modified westerly wall of the primary lagoon. All work to be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings in the solicitation package. All proposals will be evaluated on Past Performance, Quality of Work and Price. An Experience Questionaire is required to be completed for this project. The estimated price range for this project is $200,000 to $300,000. Bid, Payment and Performance bonds will be required.
