The entent of this Sources Sought synopsis is to identify potential offerors for Indefinite Quantity Repair of Roofing at Glenview, Fort Sheridan and Great Lakes, Il. NO SOLICITATION OR DRAWINGS EXIST AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY. SIC Code 1542 applies and the size standard is $11.5 million. The term of the contract will be a base year and two option periods with an estimated total cost of $5,000,000.00 -- $10,000,000.00. To accertain the method of procurement, qualfied small businesses, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged, 8 (a), and Woman -- Owned Small Business are invited to submit a "Capability Statement" to this office. Information to be provided must include, but is not limited to: name and address of firm; size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years; number of employees; ownership and whether they are Small, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged, 8 (a), and/or Woman -- Owned; number ofyears in business; affiliate information such as parent company or teaming partners; potential services to be subcontracted, if any, and a list of customers (Government and non-Government) covering the last 5 years (highlighting relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement, and point of contact/addreses and phone numbers, detailing all relevant technical qualifications. Interested firms should also include in the Capability Statement demonstrative information relative to past performance and experience in managing a workforce and performing work similar to the requirements of this procurement. Capability Statements should be no longer than 10 pages in length and should be received in this office no later than September 2, 2000. If sufficient interest is not received, the Government reserves the right to determine the appropriate procurement method and the resulting solication may be issued UNRESTRICTED. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify contractors to provide Indefinite Quantity Roofing Services including all labor, transportation, equipment, transportation, materials and supervision required to provide renovation, including removal, replacement and repair of roof assemblies for non-residential and residential structures located at Glenview, Fort Sheridan and the Naval Training Center Complex,Great Lakes, Il.
