This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item requirement in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes Solicitation No. 00SQ140015 issued as an RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-18. NAICS code is 3339111 and the size standard is 500 employees. Requirements for Unit 7 Governor Pump Replacement The government requires replacing two Woodward "XX Herringbone" type pumps, which supply the hydraulic (oil) pressure for the Unit 7 governor. The governor, which has been in service since the 1940's, is a Woodward type CA054 (cabinet actuator) governor, serial number 12852. The governor pumps normally operate over the pressure range of 188 to 205 psi, maintaining operating pressure in the accumulator tank for governor and gate servomotor operation. We are looking for the following requirements: 1. Two vertical positive displacement rotary screw pumps, with integral unloader, relief valve, and check valve, equal to Woodward VFL Pumps. Output of 150 GPM at 300 psi. Powered by 3-phase, 60 hz, 460 volt induction C-face motor, with motor starter/controls. 2. Adaptor plates and mounting hardware. Pump/motor couplings. 3. Any required hydraulic piping between components. 4. New control switches for lead/lag to be mounted by plant personnel. 5. Templates for locating new mounting holes for installation in the top of the existing sump. 6. Arrangement and wiring diagrams. 7. Installation manual.
