The Joint Program Office for Biological Defense (JPO-BD), acting for the Department of Defense, has a requirement for first article and full scale production of immunochromatographic assays, used for the identification of up to 40 different biological warfare agents and 5 different types of training Hand Held Assays. JPO-BD intends to use an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type of contract. The Government anticipates awarding a minimum of one (1) and maximum of three (3) contracts, which will include a basic year of production and four one year options. The basis for award of this contract will be Best Value to the Government.
