These reagents are designed and calibrated to work specifically and accurately with Combos and Microscan System utilized by the Naval Hospital. These reagents are manufactured by Allegiance Healthcare Corporation. It is anticipated that a sole source contract will be awarded to Allegiance Healthcare Corporation who holds proprietary rights; however all responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. It is anticipated that the type contract to be awarded will be a Firm Fixed-Price Type Contract. Solicitation will be prepared as a commercial item and will be prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is M00146-00-Q-9040. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation(RFQ). Tentative mail out date for solicitation is 00 Aug 09. Faxed requests for solicitation packages are desired. Provide Cage Code, Dun & Bradstreet Number, and Taxpayer's Identification Number with request. No telephone request will be accepted. The tentative closing date for this solicitation is 00 Aug 25.
