This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for the following items: 1)Motorola Single Board Computer P/N MVME2700-1431, 10 each. Salient characteristics: 366 MHz MPC750, 32MB ECC DRAM, 9MB Flash, IEEE 1101 compatible front panel with injector/ejector handles. 2)Motorola 5-row DIN backplane P2 adapter P/N MVME761P2-011, 9 each. 3)Motorola Transition Module P/N MVME761-011, 10 each. Salient Characteristics: Transition module: Two DB-9 async serial port connectors, two HD-26 aync/async serial port connectors, one HK-36 parallel port connector, one RJ-45 10/100 Ethernet connector; includes 3-row DIN P2 adapter module and cable. 4)Motorola Primary PMC Carrier Module that attaches to the MVME2600/2700/3600/4600 and provides two PMC slots P/N PMCspan-001, 2 each. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-18. The SIC code for this procurement is 7373. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to Kennedy Space Center is required within 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by August 9, 2000, 4:00 p.m. E.S.T., and may be faxed to Gloria Marsh, Kennedy Space Center, (407)867-1188 and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration, taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/Acq/Forms/Index.html to submit a quotation. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
