commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quotation.
Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and Defense
Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is restricted to small
businesses. The following is required: Fabrication of a 10' by 30'
(approximate size) Tradeshow Booth Display. The display booth should be
scaleable to an approximate size of 10' by 20' or 10' by 10' for
independent smaller-scale display purposes. All parts must be
standardized and replaceable by part number, unless specifically
customized (i.e. panels with wall openings). The center display area
shall be designed to simulate the rear of a Marine Corps High Mobility
Multiple-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) (civilian equivalent --
AM-General Hummer) with a canvas cargo cover. The government will
provide raw photographs of the vehicle upon vendor request. The display
booth is to have a center display area with an opening of approximately
32" by 52", which will accommodate the display of Government equipment
with a table protruding through the opening, simulating the tailgate
of a HMMWV. The table must be approximately 52" by 60" in size and will
be required to sustain a minimum weight of 400 lbs. The table color
must be consistent with that of the HMMWV. The left and right display
booth areas shall be covered in a metallic textured black and green
wall covering (non-fabric and non-laminate) with wood grain accents for
background display and to allow magnetic graphic application when
desired. The display shall have an overhead box truss system, which is
collapsible and capable of suspending large monitors. The truss is
required to havesquare corners that allow for magnetic graphic
application. Appropriate lighting shall be attached as to sufficiently
illuminate the display area. Miscellaneous components to be included
are a lockable free-standing podium, center counters for small displays
on the left and right display areas, and all equipment/tools required
for assembly and disassembly. The entire display should be able to fit
into no more than five (5) containers measuring 15" by 30", of which
one (1) container may be of crate size (approx. 60" by 32"). The
overall weight of the display booth shall not exceed 1,200 pounds, with
individual panels weighing no more than 10 pounds each. Minor equipment
variations will be evaluated and discussed with contractors within
competitive range. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, MCLB Albany,
GA 31704 with inspection/acceptance at destination. FAR

resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer
conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the best value to

acquisition. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full
coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a
similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no
additional cost to the Government. Offerors responding to this
announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-1,
Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items. The offeror should also
provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor
Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number.
Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register or
accept the Government Master Card as a form of payment in order to be
eligible for award. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those
offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time
frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future
discussions and/or award. The written quotes and the above information
must be received at this office on or before 16 August 2000, at 2:00
PM Eastern STD. Time. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which
