Mugu, CA, and White Sands, NM, is conducting market research regarding the feasibility of establishing a contractor hosted reverse auction web site. The contractor shall provide and host a reverse auction web site including: 1) software and hardware to host the web site; and 2) administration and maintenance of the web site. The site shall have the capability to ensure that procurements are conducted in accordance with federal acquisition laws and regulations, provide security of Government financial data, and anonymity of offerors. Responses to this sources sought announcement shall include: 1. Descriptive product/service literature. 2. A description of your company's current capability to provide a web site which will allow procurements to be conducted in accordance with applicable procurement laws and regulations 3. A description of security safeguards to ensure anonymity of offerors and protection of Government credit card information. 4. Provide information regarding how the site will be advertised 7.
