The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) anticipates placing a noncompetitive award to Joseph C. Mitchell, Phd in Richmond, VA for production of GIS-based distribution maps for all amphibian species in Shenandoah National Park. Dr. Mitchell is the only person known to possess all of the available museum and non-museum amphibian locality data for amphibians from Shenandoah National Park. Firms who believe they can provide the required service are invited to submit a written affirmative response to this notice within 15 calendar days from the day this notice first appears in this publication. An affirmative response shall include documentation supporting the offeror's claim of possession of subject data that would enable it to provide the service. All responses will be technically evaluated to determine the offeror's capability to perform the service. This notice is for informational purposes only; no solicitation package exists.
