These spares are necessary for the repair, overhaul and modification of the LANTIRN Targeting System. As the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the F-14 LANTIRN Targeting Systems, Lockheed Martin is the only known source who possess the required expertise and knowledge to provide the effort within the timeframe required.
