REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL PROPOSAL This is a Request For Technical
Proposals for Solicitation No. F33601-00-B-9001 for Marquette MAC Lab
Patient Monitor Equipment Maintenance. Instructions for the Technical
Proposals are included in Atch1-InstructionstoBidders.doc in the

45433-5309. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE -- F33601-00-B-9001 This notice
announces the intent of Air Force 74th Medical Support Squadron to
solicit offerors for a competitive commercial acquisition for services
to provide complete maintenance services for the Marquette MAC Lab
Patient Monitoring System located at the Wright-Patterson Medical
Center on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. ITIS INTENDED THAT THIS
AWARD WILL BE MADE AS A COMMERCIAL ITEM ACQUISITION AND WILL BE ISSUED
ON A STANDARD FORM 1449 WITH ADDENDA. The period of performance for
this acquisition is anticipated to be 1 Oct 2000 -- 30 Sept 2001 with
four(4) one year options. This proposed procurement is a Full and Open
competition under SIC Code 7699, Size Standard. This award will be
made using the Two-Step Sealed Bidding procedures in accordance with
FAR 14.5. Under Step 1, offerors are to submit a technical proposal
only. Price or cost estimates are NOT included in Step 1. An Invitation
for Bid will be issued under Step 2 to those firms whose technical
proposals have been determined to be acceptable. This solicitation will
be issued electronically. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
The Request for Technical Proposal (RFTP) and Performance Work
Statement (PWS) will be posted on the ASC Pre-Award Information
Exchange System (PIXS) web site at: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. Draft
solicitation documents may be posted for comments prior to solicitation
issuance. The solicitation will be issued approximately 02 August 2000.
Once the solicitation has been posted, it is incumbent upon the
interested parties to review this site frequently for updates to the
