The purpose of this announcement is to notify interested parties of changes to solicitation N00244-00-T-1163 that is incorporated in amendments 0002 and 0003. 1. The closing date of the solicitation is hereby extended to August 11, 2000. 2. The text description has been amended to add: Size: 327"L x 96"W x 98"H. 3. The Substation Generators are available for viewing during site visit at the Mobile Utilities Support Equipment Dept., SEABEE Logistics Center, 1000 23rd Avenue, Port Hueneme, CA 93043-4410 at 10;a.m. on August 1, 2000, the point of contact is CE! Utter at 805-982-1596. The sole purpose of this site visit is to provide industry with an opportunity to inspect the equipment. Offerors are advised the site visit is not intended to alter any aspect of the written solicitation. In the event that some aspect of this visit appears to conflict with the written solicitation, offerors must immediately notify Mrs. Penny Estrada, Contracting Officer and request resolution of the conflict. 4. Contractors may schedule appointments with MUSE point of contact CE1 Utter at 805-982-1596, if they are unable to meet with him on August 1, 2000. However, you are reminded that the sole purpose of this visit is to provide industry with an opportunity to view the equipment.
