FY01 UK Development is a continuation of SWSMIN MK 1 MOD 0 and MK 1 MOD 2 efforts initiated in FY00. The MOD 0 efforts include installation and checkout of the MOD 0 proofing kit in the UK CR, delivery of the SPALT proofing document and UK FC fleet documentation to support SWSMIN MOD 0 and installation support to SWSMIN MOD 0. The MOD 2 efforts include the development of the MK 1 MOD 2 documentation package, selection and qualification of MOD 2 unique hardware, preparation of UK inputs to the SWSMIN MK 1 MOD 1/2 SPALT proposal, delivery of the MOD 2 SPALT proofing kit with kit reserve assets for the UK CR, and preparation of initial inputs for the MK 1 MOD 2 fleet documentation. FY01 UK Production effort requires the procurement of material, the build, sell-off and installation of all SWSMIN MK 1 MOD 0 SPALT kits for UK SSBN and training deliverables along with supply system spares. This effort also requires the procurements of advance material for the SWSMIN MK 1 MOD 2 SPALT kits. Note 22. Award to be made via a job order to an existing basic ordering agreement.
