782-5051 Award will be a 1 year contract, with 2 additional option
years for Program Support and Management Services for the Integrated
Material Management Center (IMMC) of Soldier Biological and Chemical
Command (SBCCOM) at Natick, Massachusetts. The primary duty station is
located at the U.S. Army SBCCOM, Soldier Systems Center (SSC), at
Natick, MA. This contract requires the contractor to provide program
support and management services in the areas of logistics, acquisition
and program management in an IMMC environment. This effort requires
the contractor to possess 10 years total experience in high level
logistics planning and support of complex acquisition processes in both
private and industry and support of complex acquisition processes in
both private industry and government settings. Contractor will work in
conjunction with Government personnel in support of the following
functions: 1) Applies FAR, DoD Directive 5000.1, other DOD
Instructions, Army Regulations, Acquisition Reform Guidance, etc. in
developing and preparing acquisition/program documentation such as:
Acquisition Plan, Program Management Plan, Statement of Work, Contract
Data Requirements List (CDRL), Specifications, and other acquisition
documents required by the Contracting/Logistics or Program Offices. 2)
Assists in the preparation of procurement solicitations and acts as an
advisor to Source Selection Evaluation Boards. 3) Prepares
organizational documentation such as Continuity Of Operations Plan
(COOP), Operational Concept Plans, Memorandums of Agreement,
Operational Control Plans and Strategic Planning Documents. 4) Develops
and produces schedules of varying complexity ranging from the top level
master schedule to low level milestone charts, or other types of
schedules such as GANTT, PERT, CPM and Milestone Charts. 5) Applies
basic budgetary and programming knowledge in evaluating alternative
courses of action and making recommendations for funding strategy to
the government manager. The contractor shall be required to travel
extensively. Travel destinations and dates will be determined over
time. The contractor shall possess a DOD SECRET clearance. Posted
