L -- MULTISPECTRAL IMAGIGN ERDAS IMAGE 8.4 TRAINING SOL NMA401-00-T-0043 DUE 080700 POC Edward Smith (301) 227 5005 The National Imagery & Mapping Agency intends to issue a firm fixed price contract for NIMA owned two week course in ERDAS Imagine 8.4 Training On sole source bases to Science Applications International Corporation.Solicitation number NMA401-00-T- 0043 has been prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15 and Note 22.The requirement is to teach an existing two-week Spectral Imagery Processing Course for up to twelve (12) NIMA personnel. The remaining hours will be used to prepare equipment and course material. Pototcopying of course materials will be required. Instruction emphasizes guided hands-on execution of processing software interspersed with lecture and discussions. As part of the training, instructor-assisted practical exercises are conducted to teach the integration and sequencing of the software to produce DOD related products to support operational andintelligence missions and functions. The general course of instruction consists of, but not limited to the Characteristics of Spectral Imagery, Data Manipulation, Production Planning and Execution, and Evaluation and Critiques.
