The Lower Michigan Acquisition Center, Detroit, Michigan is soliciting offers to provide clinical pharmacists approximately 68 hours per week at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R Street, Detroit, Michigan and backup coverage when requested an available at the VA Medical Centers located in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek and Saginaw, Michigan. The individuals proposed to work under this contract shall be licensed in the State of Michigan with a Bachelor or Science Degree in Pharmacy. He or she shall be in good standing and possess a current, full and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Michigan. The successful contractor shall meet all quality standards of the profession, governmental licensing agencies, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Coverage shall be provided on-site, Sunday through Saturday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 Midnight. The solicitation will be issued on August 4, 2000.
