POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT Description: The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) is seeking sources to provide staffing, equipment and services for the VASNHS Diabetic Digital Photographic Retinopathy Screening Project. The VA will provide the space located at 1700 Vegas Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89106, computer connections, network access, and support staff for scheduling. This service is known as Seven Field Stereoscopic Fundis Photography and would serve approximately 80 to 100 VA patients per month. The Contractor will provide everything else including: a) Staffing -- Photographer services, Interpreting services, and consulting; b) All insurance, License, certification, necessary; c) Compliance with Diabetic Retinopathy Study & Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS), American Academy of Ophthalmology Preferred Practice Patterns for Diabetic Retinopathy; and d) all required inspections, reports and documentation. The service is not to use polaroid film or use a non-mydriatic method, due to unacceptable failure rates, but should use electronic or telemedicine solutions. Unless we receive response from qualified providers, the VA SNHS plans to award a contract to INOVEON CORPORATION of Tulsa Oklahoma, for this service. This is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, but a request for information. The purpose of this Request for Information is to obtain information on potential companies that have the capacity, experience, and other necessary resources to provide these services. All proprietary information should be so marked and the information will be fully protected to the extent allowed.
