Contract Specialist 301-443-8826 E-MAIL: PROGRAM SUPPORT CENTER,
jlasko@psc.gov. The Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Minority
Health (OMH), through the General Acquisitions Branch, PSC, plans to
award a six (6) month sole source simplified acquisition to the Center
for the Advancement of Health. The purpose of this simplified
acquisition is to further refine and develop a more comprehensive
research agenda for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services
(CLAS) project. Cultural diversity in America has significant
implications for health care delivery and policymaking. Across the
United States, doctors' offices, clinics, and hospitals experience
cultural diversity everyday. The growing need to provide culturally and
linguistically appropriate health care services to diverse populations
is becoming more apparent. This project will set the stage for an
ongoing discussion of research concerns surrounding CLAS. "See Note(s)
